How to use to use Zapier with Peerdom

Streamline workflows and save time with Peerdom’s new Zapier integration. By connecting Peerdom with thousands of apps like Slack, Google Sheets, and Trello, you can automate repetitive tasks and focus on what matters most.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up, create, and manage Zaps to maximize efficiency and productivity.

What can you do with Zapier?

Zapier is a third-party integration platform that connects Peerdom with other apps you use daily. With Zapier, you can set up workflows (called Zaps) that automate tasks between Peerdom and other tools like Google Sheets, Slack, Trello, and more – no coding required!

For example, every time a new peer joins your organization in Peerdom, a message can be instantly sent to your team in Slack. No more manual updates or missed notifications—just seamless communication that ensures your team stays in sync and properly welcomes new members.

Peerdom offers a variety of Zapier integrations with other apps to enhance your workflows. Whether it's automating project management, syncing employee data, or improving team communication, you can find a solution that fits your needs. Explore the full list of available integrations on Zapier to discover how Peerdom can connect with the tools you already use.

Setting up your Zapier account

Only Owners of an account can set up the Peerdom Zapier integration.

Before you can start using the Zapier integration with Peerdom, you'll need a Zapier account. If you don't have one yet, follow these steps to set it up:

Go to the Zapier website and click on the “Sign Up” button to register with your work email address.

Once logged in, go to the Apps section in the settings, click “Add connection,” and search for Peerdom.

To authorize the connection, use the API key from your Peerdom account. If you don’t have one yet, you can request an API key from our support team.

Alt

Now you can link other apps you'd like to integrate with Peerdom. Search for apps like Slack, Google Sheets, or Trello, and follow the prompts to connect them to Zapier.

You're now ready to start creating Zaps!

Creating Your First Zap

Now that your Peerdom account is connected to other apps, it's time to create your first Zap. In this example, we want to automate a Welcome notification to the team channel on Slack every time a new peer joins on Peerdom.

  1. Create a new Zap

From the Zapier dashboard, click the "Create" button and select "Zaps" to get started.

Alt

  1. Set up the Trigger

Choose Peerdom as your Trigger app. Then, select the event that will start the automation, such as "New Peer" or another relevant trigger for your workflow.

Alt

  1. Choose the Action

Select an Action app that will perform a task once the trigger occurs. For example, choose Slack to send a notification when a new peer is added in Peerdom.

Alt

  1. Configure the Trigger and Action

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup of both the Trigger and Action (e.g., choosing the Slack channel where the message will be sent).

Alt

  1. Test your Zap

Zapier will guide you through testing the setup to ensure it works as expected. Check that the action takes place when the trigger event occurs (e.g., the intended message is sent to the correct Slack channel).

Alt

  1. Activate your Zap

Once everything looks good, give your Zap a descriptive name (e.g., “Welcome New Peer on Slack”) and click “Publish” to activate your workflow. Your Zap will now run automatically whenever the trigger event occurs.

Alt

Congrats! You’ve now successfully created your first automated workflow with Peerdom and Zapier.

Take advantage of Zap templates

Zapier provides Zap templates, which are pre-built workflows designed for specific tasks. These can save time and simplify the setup process.

Browse templates

To explore available templates, visit the Peerdom Zapier integration page and browse through the list of pre-configured Zaps. You’ll find templates that help automate everything from project management to team communication.

Customize templates

Once you find a template that suits your needs, click “Try this template” to begin. You’ll be guided through the process of linking your accounts and configuring the workflow to match your specific preferences.

Create your own Zaps

If you prefer to create a workflow from scratch, you can always design your own Zap by following the steps we outlined above.

Now it’s your turn
